It was March 27, 2020. The world had just shut down. And we had our first birthday Zoom party.

“Phil was looking awfully cute, prepping a steak,” remembers Rachel. “I recorded a video of him - so I made the first move.”

“Actually, I did. Rachel looked beautiful, and I just wanted to get to know her - so I asked a friend for her number,” says Phil.

Since then, we’ve collected more than just books and movie tickets—we’ve collected memories, inside jokes, a shared calendar, and way too many mugs.

And then in March 2024, a few years, a few birthdays, and a global pandemic later, Phil’s asked the question that’s been in the works since that first birthday Zoom.

Rachel—will you marry me?

The answer was immediate - Yes. Grabbing the ring from the box.
