The wedding vibe: Formal with flair — fun, eccentric, and deeply familial.
Over the course of the weekend, expect elegance without stiffness. Tuxedos and gowns will make an appearance, but so will bold textures, personal touches, and joyful surprises - with a little theatricality for good measure.
Everything will feel rooted in story and intention - from food to outfits.
EVENT SPECIFIC:
Boat Ride - Optional
(In Paris)
We will be doing a sunset boat ride in Paris on the Tuesday before the wedding—a little pre-celebration for anyone who happens to be in town early! It’s completely optional, but if you’re around, we’d absolutely love to host you.
The evening will be festive but more relaxed. Rachel and Phil will be in fun custom suits (yes, there will be color and flair!), so feel free to bring your own twist on cocktail or fashion-forward attire to join the spirit.
Welcome Party - Formal
(at venue)
The evening will be a stylish, social affair - imagine a promenade through the grounds. You’ll be walking and mingling across the property, so while attire is formal, comfort and mobility are key. Think elegant, tailored, and elevated - with shoes suited for cobblestones. This event is mostly outside, so please keep temperature in mind.
Rachel will be in a flowy gown with flats, Phil will be in a velvet suit jacket (no tie).
Wedding - Black Tie
(at venue)
Tuxedos and floor-length gowns, with your own twist. Think texture, bold choices, and statement pieces—this is the night to have fun with fashion. Men, wear a colored tux or jacket! Wear a fun tie and cummerbund.
We kindly ask guests to skip standard print florals so the overall look stays elevated and unexpected. If you have questions on this, please reach out!
