Are kids welcome?
We absolutely love your children, and they are welcome at the Abbaye throughout our stay. That said, the wedding day itself (ceremony and celebration) will be an adults-only event. The venue does offer babysitting services if needed.
Some guests have mentioned bringing a family member or nanny to help during the trip. If you plan to do so, please let us know so we can set rooms at the Abbaye aside for you — or help coordinate if they’ll be staying in Paris during the wedding days (Wednesday through Friday morning).
If you’re looking for a break from the little ones - no pressure to bring them. Cannot wait to celebrate with you all!
When should we arrive?
Unless flagged by groom and bride of needing to be in Paris before, we advise taking an overnight flight Monday or Tuesday ahead of the wedding. If you plan to attend the events in Paris, we advise flying Sunday or Monday. Everyone handles jet lag differently!
Will there be events in Paris ahead of the wedding?
Yes! We will be planning activities in Paris ahead of the wedding. A more detailed schedule will be sent shortly.
If in Paris ahead of wedding, how do I get to the venue?
There are a few options! Train and car. Feel free to take a look at the venue website for now, but we will be coordinating travel closer to the event date, so don't fret!
Will there be wedding events after the Friday?
Depending on responses, we will have one final event on Friday evening in Paris. Outside of that, people will likely travel. If you are interested and want to join groups planning trips, let us know and we will help coordinate!
